New chef/owner Matt Laurence is proud to "reopen" the Green Lantern Inn in his hometown of Fairport. He returns to the area after six years of culinary experience at the Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, MD where he served as executive chef. He trained at Western Culinary Institute, a Cordon Bleu Academy in Portland, Oregon. Matt has been awarded membership in the Chaine des Rotisseurs, and several "Taste" prizes. He has designed menus and cooked for past presidents, Julia Child, and many other red carpet personalities. He offers a variety of unique seasonal menus and will customize a menu for your event.

The facility has undergone many interior and exterior renovations since the Laurence family purchased it in 2004. The property hosted the 2006 Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's Designer Showhouse, which helped raise over $100,000 for its educational outreach programs. The Green Lantern Inn will provide you an attractive facility with outstanding food to serve all of your entertaining needs.
